We can't wait to welcome you to the shop this June 24 and 25 for our KISS Stitch-In. Be sure to join the KISS June 2026 Facebook group! Here we will share future communications as we get closer to the event, but best of all you get to virtually meet all the attendees ahead of time! Feel free to coordinate dinners, car pools, activities and more!​Here are some details to help you plan your visit:​

Stitching will be from 10AM-4PM both Wednesday and Thursday.  Plus, we are happy to announce we will be joined by special guest, Audra, of Audra Stitches.  Meet and stitch with Audra, plus shop her fabulous trunk show at 20% off. 

What to bring:

Please bring whatever you are working on, canvases you would like help kitting, any finishing that you might like to discuss, etc. We are also happy to help you find a new project. Feel free to bring along a table stand if you work with one. Our lighting is very good at the shop, but if you would like to bring any CORD-FREE lighting, that is welcome as well. 

Lunch will be provided both days. If you have any serious food allergies/restrictions and haven't notified us yet, please reply to this email, and let us know as soon as possible (if you haven’t already).

We will have bottled water and some snacks available. Outside beverages are welcome, but for the safety of everyone's projects, we ask that they be in containers with a top.

If you are driving a car/rental car and will be parking at the shop, there are a number of parking meters on Mack Avenue. The map attached shows areas on the sides with longer term metered spots. The city will ticket Monday-Saturday from 8AM-6PM. There is no customer parking in the back of the shop.  There is a map here for reference.  You can download the parking app, Passport Parking here, which will allow you to pay for parking on your phone.

We can't wait to welcome you to the shop next week for our Finishing Class, June 19 & 20!  Here are some details to help you plan your visit:​

As a reminder, on Friday you will be learning about finishing round ornaments.  Then on Saturday you will learn squares.  Both sessions are 3 hours.  

Morning sessions will be from 9am - 12pm and afternoon sessions from 1pm-4pm.   

PLEASE NOTE: if you would like to spend some time in the shop outside of class, we recommend staying late after the morning session, or coming early if you are a part of the afternoon session.  We will have Flossettes working the floor as usual to take care of you while you visit.  Doors will open at 8:45am and close at 5pm each day.

Participants should bring:

- Round classes (Friday, June 19): A completed round canvas, blocked
- Rectangle/Square (Saturday, June 20): A completed canvas, blocked

​You can find aninstructional video here.You do NOT need blocking combs. You can use t-Pins, push pins in a cork board or piece of wood, felt ironing pad, ironing board, etc.​

Optional to bring:

- Bring desired backing fabric, measured 1 inch wider on all sides (6x6 for 4x4). Recommend a not stretchy material. Thin materials like quilter's cotton, velveteen, or silk work great. Materials kit includes black, white, red, and navy.

- Two skeins of DMC Floss or DMC Pearle (only if you have a color preference. Materials kit includes black, white, red, and navy floss)

- If you don't want to finish yout own canvas, you can bring blank 18 mesh canvas.
