2025 Chart for Charity - Grace the Giraffe with Bow benefitting Yambi Rwanda
To purchase, please add item to your cart, and you will receive the digital chart delivered directly to your email. This listing is for a digital chart, not a painted canvas.
Here at The Wool & The Floss, we have held a couple special events with our dear friend Julie Virjee to benefit her charity: Yambi Rwanda. You may have seen the fabulous project bags made by the Komera Creative Sewing Co-operative that we have highlighted in these events.
This year, one of our Charts for Charity, The Giraffe, will benefit Yambi Rwanda and the women who made the project bags that many of you might have. This design has been named "Grace" after the director of Komera Creative (pictured with Julie).
At the end of December, we will send a check to Yambi for the total amount raised from this Chart for Charity. Thank you for your generosity! Your support makes a huge impact!
Chart designed by Amy Poore of A Poore Girl Paints and Melissa Loves Needlepoint.

More information about Yambi Rwanda:
Komera Creative Cooperative Sewing Center is located in Kigali, the capital of Rwanda. It is a sewing cooperative founded, administered and staffed by women who are survivors of the Rwandan genocide. The mission of Komera Creative is to provide a vocational outlet for these women – all of whom suffered incredible loss and/or injury in the genocide – to earn a living wage for themselves and their families by sewing and creating clothing, blankets, and various handiworks which they sell to the global market.
